The Author

Dr. Kendall Ware is a distinguished educator from St. Louis, MO, with 14 years of experience. Holding a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership, he is a Mathematics Education professor and former middle school and high school teacher. Driven by a passion for equity in education, he founded the African American Male Mathematics Fraternity (AAMMF) to support Black students' success in Mathematics. Dr. Ware's expertise lies in designing student success programs for underprivileged, first-generation learners. He lives by his favorite quote, "Settling for being good gets in the way of being great!". Ware is married to his lovely wife Erika, and they have 2 daughters and a son. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, golf, music, and networking.
